SpillRemed (Industrial) cleaning up an Oil water separator at a NJ Port:

Discharge of oily wastewater is a continuing problem for transport maintenance facilities. The South Jersey Port Corporation (SJPC) was cited on a number occasions regarding effluent discharge from the port maintenance facility in spite of installation of the Oil Water Separator. It was felt that a totally environment friendly bioremediation solution could possibly be a better approach to reduce the concentration of oils and greases. Although there were initial concerns about the reported levels of toxic metals, the performance of SpillRemed  was not affected. The TPH content was reduced by 90% in eight days. Population of oil eating microbes (POEM) decreased correspondingly with the reduction of oil. The CEO of the South Jersey Port gave a Testimonial.

Report on the study is attached.
