Down the memory lane: Case study 7:SpillRemed (Industrial) going beyond the call of duty

A Diesel spill in an open berm in a mine in Canada

In 2001, we received an urgent request for SpillRemed for the on-site cleanup of a diesel fuel in the open berm at Kemess Mines located in the Rockies in Canada. The mine was located in a fairly remote location and it took 10 days to deliver the shipment at the location. Weather conditions at the mine were least favorable for any bioremediation as it was raining all the time and temperatures were almost near freezing. However, SpillRemed (Industrial) went beyond the call of duty and remediated the spill in 6 weeks. The authorities at the mine were more than pleased with the performance of the bioremediation product. Please check out the paper.
