Down the memory lane: Case study 7:SpillRemed (Industrial) going beyond the call of duty

A Diesel spill in an open berm in a mine in Canada

In 2001, we received an urgent request for SpillRemed for the on-site cleanup of a diesel fuel in the open berm at Kemess Mines located in the Canadian Rockies.

The mine was located in a fairly remote location and as it took 10 days to deliver the shipment at the location. Further, the weather at the mine were least favorable for any bioremediation as it was raining all the time and temperatures were almost near freezing. However, SpillRemed (Industrial) was able to complete the remediation of the berm within 6 weeks despite the colder temperatures. Please follow the link for additional information.
